In these difficult times, Pacific Quorum Properties has imposed many measures and policies to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.
We have moved to a Work From Home environment, and closed our offices to the public. We are not allowing the pick-up of cheques or other packages at any of our front desks.
We have provided all of our clients with recommendations for consideration within the properties which we manage. We will be working with our clients to implement those recommendations and other strategies to safeguard the residents within our managed properties, as approved and directed by our clients.
We have implemented internal procedures that will ensure that we are able to continue to provide the property management services that our clients and properties require.
We will continue to conduct strata council meetings, in an electronic format to ensure that the business of the strata corporation’s we manage continues.
We are currently recommending that Annual General and Special General meetings be postponed as we await confirmation from the RECBC as to a compliant manner in which these meetings may be held, without an in person component.
Our accounting department is operational and will continue to provide regular financial statements to our clients, collect strata fees and rental payments on behalf of our clients, and pay bills on behalf of our clients, to ensure that there is no interruption in the services or utilities required in the operation of our managed properties.
We have circulated to all clients helpful tips and other information that may be useful, and are recommending that any owner within one of our managed properties that is not currently signed up for PQ Online, please do so at your earliest convenience as this will be the primary means of communication regarding matters pertaining to your property.
Thank you, and stay safe.
